After being drafted in 2001, Deuce knew that he had to give back to his community and his state.  While it took some time to plan and finalized, Deuce McAllister’s Catch 22 Foundation was founded in 2002.  Deuce’s foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth in the Gulf South Region.  Starting out with just a few small programs, the foundation has grown tremendously, reaching out to help children not only in the Jackson and New Orleans areas, but throughout Mississippi and Louisiana. Programs like:

Thanksgiving Give-Away:
Mississippi: In the past we have teamed up with Brookshire's to feed the elderly and underprivileged families in Deuce's hometown of Ludlow and surrounding areas.

Louisiana: For the past several years Deuce, Coke and Winn-Dixie have teamed up to feed families for the New Orleans area for Thanksgiving.

Holiday Shopping Adventure:
Every year for Christmas Deuce and his Catch 22 Foundation provide underprivileged youth a chance to be Santa for their family.  The kids are treated to a night of food, activities, meeting Saints players but most importantly they are taught the importance not thinking about themselves but buying gifts for their loved ones.

After-School Program:
The Catch 22 Foundation has partnered with Deuce's hometown of Ludlow to provide after-school tutoring to the kids in the community and surrounding area.
